TPD cover
Pays a lump sum if you are unlikely to work again in a job suited to your education, training or experience.
Income protection
Pays a monthly benefit for a set period if you cannot work. It may be reduced by WorkCover payments.
Complaints
If your fund or insurer rejects a claim, you can complain to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) for free.
